PhD thesis at Université Paris-Saclay and Laboratorio Subterráneo de Canfranc

Scholarship funded by the Canfranc underground laboratory (LSC) on an interdisciplinary program combining neutrino physics and quantum information: «Milikelvin technology for neutrino physics and quantum computing»

The thesis will consist on the study of the neutrinoless double beta decay of 100Mo with the CROSS experiment at the LSC  and the systematic evaluation of radioactive sources that can produce energy bursts in solid-state quantum devices, potentially limiting the performance of superconducting qubits for information processing.

Grant duration: 3 years (first year at IJCLab (Orsay, France) and two more years at the LSC )

Starting from : January 2th, 2023

Deadline for application: June 30th, 2022
