The Theoretical Physics Group at the University of Zaragoza invites applications for a 2+1-year postdoctoral research position starting as early as April 2026, funded by the project PID2024-160228NB-I00 (Proyectos de Generación de Conocimiento 2024).
We welcome candidates working in any of the following research areas:
- Axions (Cosmology, dark matter, astrophysics, experimental strategies, HPC simulations)
- Beyond the Standard Model (Flavour, Higgs, axion-like particles, machine learning)
- Lattice QCD (CKM and flavour universality anomalies, θ-vacuum, muon g–2)
- Beyond Special Relativity (Lorentz invariance violation, doubly special relativity, high-energy astroparticle physics)
- Beyond General Relativity and QFT (Quantum gravity, Casimir effects and θ-vacuum, quantum information, topological materials & axions, dark energy)
- Cosmology (Dark energy, extragalactic surveys (Euclid, SKAO), active galactic nuclei)
Start date: As early as april 2026 (flexible)
