The sun continues to turn, the new winter solstice is approaching, and with it, a new celebration of Saturnalia.
In the Department of Theoretical Physics and CAPA center, the Saturnalia take on a twisted academic form. We gather for brief, intellectual, if warm, orgies in honor of our gods of science.
This year, priests (speakers) from all corners of the empire will invoke the teachings of Thales, Galileo, Newton, Einstein, and many others in talks on their respective research topics. A healthy snack will accompany disquisitions, hypotheses, theorems, qualifications and power-point presentations with formulas in units of the international system or natural systems.
The talks will take place from Monday 18 to Thursday 21 December 2023, in the nuclear physics seminar from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m..
Check the specific schedules on the poster and on the website https://indico.capa.unizar.es/event/35/
The talks will be broadcast via zoom at the following link: https://rediris.zoom.us/j/88582090877
Every interested resident, student, professor, dilettante, is graciously invited!
Prosperous Saturnalia!
