On Friday, October 28, a group of 40 high school students visited the Faculty of Sciences to participate in the “Hands on Dark Matter” activities organized by CAPA.
After a few words of welcome from the Dean of the Faculty, there were talks by Marisa Sarsa (CAPA), Héctor Vázquez (CEFCA), and Alberto Bayo (LSC).
The students then had the opportunity to take workshops on cosmic rays, detectors, radioactivity, the standard model of particle physics, and galaxy rotation curves.
